By using ChainFolioAI, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
ChainFolioAI aggregates and displays information about your crypto and traditional assets, with metrics, tax reporting and an AI assistant. Information is provided as is, for informational and educational purposes only.
3. Not financial advice
Nothing on the platform constitutes financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Investment decisions are entirely your own responsibility.
4. Read-only and non-custodial
The platform is read-only: we never move funds, never sign transactions and never have access to your private keys or seed. We will never ask you for those keys.
5. Plans and payments
Card plans are processed securely by Stripe; you can cancel at any time and access continues until the end of the paid period. Where crypto payment is available, it is made in stablecoins (EURC or USDC) directly to our wallets, with no third-party custody. Crypto payments are prepaid per period and renewed manually — there is no automatic charge and, given the irreversible nature of on-chain transactions, no automatic refunds or chargebacks (any refunds are handled case by case). When the period expires, access returns to the free plan, but your data and history are not deleted for that reason — you can delete your account at any time.
6. Limitation of liability
Data may contain errors, delays or inaccuracies from external sources. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses resulting from use of the platform.
7. Changes to the terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated and the update date will be revised.
8. API, MCP and webhooks
On the Premium plan you can create API keys (cfa_live_…) and connect AI agents (MCP) or webhooks. Keys give read-only access to YOUR data; you're responsible for keeping them safe, for whoever uses them (including AI agents) and for revoking them in Account if you suspect a leak. Usage limits apply (see the documentation) and we may suspend keys in case of abuse.
9. Beta and founder price
During the beta, paid-plan access is offered to testers for 60 days, free and without SLA — the platform may change, fail or lose features. At the end of the period the account returns to the free plan with no data loss. The founder price reserved for testers applies once payments open and remains as long as the subscription stays active without interruption.
10. Minimum age, AI, termination and governing law
You must be at least 18. AI assistant answers are generated automatically, may contain errors and never constitute financial, tax or investment advice. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or abuse the service; you can delete your account at any time in Account. These terms are governed by Portuguese law; Portuguese courts have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.
11. Partner and affiliate links
Some links on the site, such as the Ledger and Trezor hardware wallet links in the footer, may be affiliate links: if you buy through them, ChainFolioAI receives a commission from the seller, at no extra cost to you and without changing the price. We flag those links next to them. The purchase happens on the seller's site, under its terms; we do not sell or ship those products, and we recommend them because we use them, not because of the commission.
