Spain treats cryptocurrencies as capital assets. Gains are taxed in tiers: 19% up to €6k, 21% from €6k–€50k, 23% from €50k–€200k, 27% from €200k–€300k and 30% above €300k (since 2025). No distinction between short and long term.
